Gymnastics
Last month, we enjoyed doing gymnastics as part of our PE programme. We learned how to roll, move and land safely. It was great fun and the skills and coordination that we worked on will help us across many sports and activiites.
Magnetism
In fourth class science we recently learned about magnetism. We went on a magnetic treasure hunt and we put some thought into figuring out why the ropes in our new playground unexpectedly attracted the magnets (apparently they have wire on the inside!). We even designed race-tracks and moved the cars using like poles to repel and opposite poles to attract. We explored out how compasses work and made our own one in the classroom.
World Book Day
On March 3rd children were given the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book character. We had great fun and children enjoyed talking about their favourite characters and stories. In Class 4B we continue to impprove as readers and these skills will be valuable to us as we grow older.

Super Symmetry!
In fourth class maths, we have been learning about symmetry. Recently, we integrated our mathematical learning into a PE lesson in the hall. Working in their pods, children were given specific times to arrange varuious school resources into symmetrical patterns. They even used their own bodies to embelish the symmetrical images. Check out the photos below.
Well done on a great job!
